~~~~~~~~~~~~~
thirteen
snow softens our sounds.
featherly fly our snow-names.
gods are ruthless lies.
fourteen
I tried to freeze to
death when they stole you from me.
failed on that ice-bed.
fifteen
thieves gather again.
will I seek ice now, or flood.
will I again fail.
sixteen
black rabbit dies on
orange floor, alone. alone,
I pulse orange, black.
    • willow… as always, I’m in your debt for the praise of my writing…. Patrick and Syed, thanks for the likes. And Patrick, thanks for being both here and at PYGMIES. I really like cross-over readers.
